According to the International Dyslexia Association
An
individual can have more than one learning or behavioral disability. In various studies as many as 50% of those diagnosed
with a learning or reading difference have also been diagnosed with ADHD. Although disabilities
may co-occur, one is not the cause of the other.
We strive to provide your ADHD child with as much multi-sensory and multi-media teaching as possible.
The teachers at Kairos have received specifc and intensive training and certification in School's Attuned and embrace their philosophies and techniques for working with your ADHD child.
The online component does help parents and students who struggle with organizational skills. All textbooks,
assignments, due dates, and grades are accessible 24/7 from both home and school. In addition all materials can be accessed,
completed, and handed in from the student's home so that assignments are not lost in between.
