Monday - Thursday 9 AM - Noon June 22 - July 30
Language and Literacy Monday and Wednesday
Each session is custom tailored for your child and includes: - 15
minutes of phonemic and auditory awareness activity
- 60 minutes small group Orton-Gillingham
Instruction
- 45 minutes of writing instruction
- 30 minutes of Lexia,
Earobics, or Keyboarding
- 30 minutes of Literature / Author Study
Online and/or Offline practice work will be provided for Tues. and Thurs. This work is not mandatory in the summer but students receive incentives for completing it. Pre
and Post Assessment using the Dynamic Indicators of Basic Early Literacy Skills
Math Tuesday and Thursday Each session is custom tailored for your individual child and includes: 60 minutes of direct instruction with manipulatives and the Saxon Math Program 45 minutes of Touchmath instruction and computation
practice 15 minutes of higher
level thinking skills 30
minutes of hands-on instruction in time and/or money concepts (fractions and decimals for higher level students) 30 minutes of graphing instruction
Online and/or offline follow up activities are provided
for Monday and Wednesday. While these assignments are optional in the summer; students receive incentives and rewards
for completing them.
Space is limited to 24 students.

Camp fees include all instructional sessions, follow
up work (online and/or offline), incentives and rewards, pre and post test data, and an individual ending reward. Both camps conclude with an awards ceremony with recognition for each child. Pre and post test data is available and included in the camp fee. Maximum 8:1 ratio maintained $50
Deposit is due with registration packet; remaining balance due by June 15.
