IEP's

An ETR stands for Evaluation Team Report.  It is the document that qualifies your child for an IEP and it is redone every three years.

An IEP is an Individualized Educational Plan.  It is created for a child who qualifies for special education and related services under federal law and IDEA regulations.

We like to think of an IEP as a planning guide to your child's success.

An IEP is the document that outlines what services your child will receive.  Since Kairos is a service center for VCS your child needs to be eligible to receive services to attend.  An IEP is the most common way that eligibility is determined.  However, there are situations where a child may still be eligible to attend without an official IEP.

An MFE stands for Multi-factored evaluation and is the same thing as an ETR which stands for an Evaluation Team Report.
