The mission of Kairos Academy
Our Staff
All of our staff are state certified teachers in the state of Ohio as well as certified through the Academy of Orton-Gillingham Practitioners.
The online Component
VCS Ohio students in grades K-12 attend school online from the comfort and safety of home. The flexible curriculum allows students to
work at their own pace, which is ideal for students challenged by a learning disability. All teachers are certified
and highly-qualified. Students are most successful when there is frequent and open communicaion between teachers, parents
and students.
The face-to-face Component
Skilled
and experienced teachers use the proven Orton-Gillingham approach to help students overcome learning difficulties that arise from dyslexia. The Orton-Gillingham technique has helped thousands of students around the world sine the 1930s. Teachers at
the Kairos tutoring lab have gone through a rigorous training program to obtain certification with the Academy of Orton-Gillingham Practitioners which is a well-known, highly-respected approach.
